At the moment the house has a seperate living room, dining room, kitchen and hall but we'd love to open it up, bringing in more light and creating more space. Because the space is going to be quite large the plan is to put a pair of slim reclaimed doors between the kitchen and open plan living/dining area to conserve heat when needed and shut the naughty dog away when we want to. At the moment the doorway is to one side so we'll probably move it so that both doors can fold flat against the wall. Yet to decide which side they fold flat against but probably the dining room side.
